I first started running races when I was 10 years old for a cancer run to raise money for the cause! I ran about 10-12 miles around a track and hadn't run a mile before that time. During my younger years I did ballet, competed in gymnastics, track and cross country. I always enjoyed hiking, skiing tennis and pumping iron! Many of my family social activities were centered around fitness and sports so fitness has always been a big part of my life. As an adult, I have continued to enjoy running, skiing and have taken up swimming in the past few years. Since I live by the mountains, I love to run the trails and bike! When I was at the height of my professional career as a psychotherapist, I didn't have much time to be as active- as is for the majority of Americans. So, when I decided to change professions I chose something I love, Personal Training Zumba and now TBT and boot camps!! As a result, I am in much better shape that I was 20 years ago. I love to share everything I know to get people motivated to enjoy fitness and make life better and hope that you too can continue on this amazing journey called life with lots of healthy, fun physical activity! |
